Founder & President
Tia A. Benbow
I’m the founder of Good Gives Good. Originally from Newport News, VA, I’ve always had a heart for people. I studied Family and Consumer Science at Virginia State University. Not being one to settle, I decided to further my education and earned my Masters in Marketing from Strayer University. Ever since, I’ve been working to achieve my entrepreneurial dreams and constantly reaching back to help others. I’ve always known my purpose was to be of service—which is why I’m excited to have an organization dedicated to changing lives and being a blessing to others. My hope is that you are inspired by this organization and that it leads you pay it forward.

Director of Development
Jasmine Hill
I am a Norfolk State University graduate who grew up in Hampton Roads. I have always been interested in helping others and believe my life's purpose is to be of service. With a degree in psychology, I have served the general public, mental health and homeless populations, those afflicted with addiction, and the families and caregivers of said populations. I have also served as an officer of the court on the Peninsula. With an optimistic outlook on life, I hope to continue to be a helping hand and believe that just because someone stumbles and loses their way, doesn't mean they're lost forever.

Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, I moved to Hampton, VA, in 1980 & have resided there ever since. I graduated from Hampton High School in 1991 & earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in 2007. I have over 15 years of public service experience, but I look forward to having a greater impact in our local community through Good Gives Good. Like our Founder Tia Benbow, I had a wonderful grandmother, Francisca Torres, known to family as Mami Tití, who modeled Christian living by her example of hard work and giving to others out of her own poverty.
